Natascha Hudson was born an artist. She has painted and drawn ever since she can remember. She has pursued her love of art, especially the figure, into higher education, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Fine Arts from East Tennessee State University, with a concentration in drawing. Her skill set is the figure, and she enjoys exploring the presentation of the visible, physical figure to explain the emotions of the hidden, internal figure. The figures she depicts are life-size so you feel you could enter their experiences with them. Color is also an important tool utilized by this artist. Her figure creations are sometimes referred to by the colors they are saturated with. Mrs. Hudson is currently a Visual Arts instructor at Roane County High School. She returned to the classroom to share her passion for the visual arts. Hudson hopes to inspire students in the growth of their own art and dedication to learning. If she is not in the studio or at school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two adult children.
