 Natascha Hudson’s method of painting is a new technique that she has developed over many years. This process has evolved out of a desire to maintain the consistency of pastel without its inability to bind with the surface. Therefore, the introduction of a binder, pastel powder, and acrylic have been utilized. The surfaces are stable and have the appearance of powder with the stability of acrylic. These Life-size large images are amazing pastel drawings with the addition of new textures and surfaces that could previously only be found in wet media.
